It is important to find and release these dropman during your walk on the map to be given succulent rewards ;).
These rewards are not only aesthetic, they will also bring you new weapons, skills and improve the attributes of your characters, such as reloading twice fast the weapon or being able to do more damage to your enemies.

Nice! Do you press a certain key to free the drops, or just go near it?
I like how you freed a drop that was holding a hat, and not just a generic box that would then give you a new clothing (or other) item, but that what you are to be given is shown from the start... hmm, come to think of it, what about making the item the drops drop random, so that there will be surprise about what you will get?
